Domain name and web site hosting:
For your web site to be seen by visitors, it will need a domain name and it will also need to be hosted on a server that
can be accessed through the internet.
There are many hosting providers available on the web that will set you up with a domain name
and a hosting account.
Use your favorite web search company to find them and do some research. The monthly and yearly prices can vary
a lot between providers.
Once you decide on a web hosting company and a domain name, sign up and have the FTP information ready.
We will need it to upload your new web site to your hosting account.
Accepting Credit Cards:
If you have something to sell on your web site, your going to need some way to process credit cards.
Merchant accounts can get costly with their monthly charges and high transaction fees.
We recommend PayPal as a payment processor. If you don’t like the shopping cart PayPal offers, we like MALS commerce for a free
shopping cart. MALS is a remotely hosted script and is easy to set up and use.
